We want you to love what you order from MM Black Design. This Return Policy explains when returns, exchanges and refunds are available for fabrics, ready-to-wear pieces, accessories and custom-tailored orders purchased through mmblackdesign.com or directly from our team.
Eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 3 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn (except to try on for fit), undamaged, and in their original condition with tags attached, where applicable.
Ready-to-wear pieces and accessories purchased in their pre-made state may be returned for an exchange or store credit within the return window above, provided the item is unworn and in its original condition. Refunds to your original payment method may be offered at our discretion, minus any delivery fees already incurred.
Because fabric is cut to order, fabric-only purchases can only be returned if the item received is materially different from what was ordered, or if it arrives damaged or defective. Once fabric has been cut to your specified yardage and dispatched correctly, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
Custom-tailored garments ordered through our Style Catalog are made specifically to your chosen style, fabric and measurements, and are therefore not eligible for return or refund for change of mind once production has begun. If a custom-tailored item does not match the agreed style, fabric, or the measurements you submitted (i.e. a fault on our part), please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can arrange an alteration, remake, or appropriate resolution at no additional cost to you.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate, at no cost to you.

Please include your order details, the reason for the return, and photos of the item where relevant. Our team will guide you through the next steps, including any return shipping instructions.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method or via bank transfer within 5–10 business days of the returned item being received and inspected (or, for damaged/defective items, once the issue is confirmed). Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
